An attorney for the sole survivor of a fatal Cybertruck crash in Piedmont has added Tesla to a negligence lawsuit, alleging the vehicle's electronic door system failed after impact and trapped occupants inside as the truck caught fire.

"Tesla knew of the serious risk of trapping ... drivers and passengers ... for over a decade," the amended complaint states.
