CAA reaches settlement in writer's 'blacklisting' lawsuit

Creative Artists Agency agreed to pay $595,000 to resolve claims by TV writer John Musero that the agency misappropriated his TV concept and damaged his career.

Attorneys representing one of the entertainment industry's largest talent agencies secured a $595,000 settlement this week ending a years-long legal battle over allegations that it misappropriated the plaintiff's concept for a TV legal drama and conspired to ruin his reputation.
