2 suits challenge Meta's AI glasses over alleged secret video collection

Two class actions filed in Northern California claim Meta's AI-enabled smart glasses secretly capture and transmit video for AI training, raising new privacy and consumer protection questions.

Since reports published in late February by Swedish newspapers claimed Meta's AI-enabled glasses store video without users' consent, the company has been hit with two class actions in the Northern District of California.

However, the two lawsuits differ substantially in where they claim Meta violated the law.
