Can a well-executed succession plan drive up firm revenues?

A Los Angeles law firm's years-long bet on succession planning paid off with double-digit revenue and profit growth -- and consultants say more firms should be taking notes.

Firmwide demand -- measured by billable hours -- at Nossaman LLP rose more than 13% year over year in 2025. Revenues climbed more than 11%, net income increased nearly 14%, and profits per equity partner jumped more than 20%.
