Man shot in eye at LA protest sues city, police

A man hit in the eye by a rubber bullet during a Los Angeles protest sued the city and police, alleging civil rights violations after officers dispersed a demonstration he said he was photographing peacefully.

A man shot in the eye with a rubber bullet after Los Angeles police declared an unlawful assembly at the "No Kings" protest in June sued the city and police Wednesday in a complaint claiming civil rights violations, negligence and infliction of emotional distress.
