Pasadena Jewish Temple sues Edison over Eaton fire damage

The Pasadena Jewish Temple and Center claims Edison's failures caused the Eaton Fire, which destroyed its sanctuary and campus, displaced 400 families and prompted a lawsuit seeking damages and safety reforms.

The Pasadena Jewish Temple and Center, whose 84-year-old sanctuary and campus were left in ruins by the Eaton Fire, has sued Southern California Edison, alleging the utility failed to follow safety protocols and that faults in its transmission lines sparked the blaze.

The suit says the fire destroyed the center's sanctuary, preschool and community buildings that served 400 families.
