Judge tosses challenge to AG's daily fantasy sports opinion

A Sacramento County judge granted Attorney General Rob Bonta's anti-SLAPP motion, striking Underdog Sports' petition to block the state from issuing an advisory opinion on daily fantasy sports. Judge Jennifer K. Rockwell held the filing targeted protected government speech and failed the public interest exemption, finding Underdog had a substantial business stake and no probability of prevailing.
