Orange County supervisors reject motion to settle DOJ voter records lawsuit

The three Democratic supervisors voted against the measure, leaving the matter to the courts.

Orange County supervisors narrowly rejected a proposal to settle a federal lawsuit seeking unredacted voter registration data, intensifying a legal clash between state privacy laws and federal election oversight.
