Gun owners ask Supreme Court to review California's magazine ban
Attorneys Paul Clement and Erin Murphy have petitioned the U.S. Supreme Court to strike down California's ban on large-capacity magazines, but legal experts say the justices may hesitate to take up the issue without five votes lined up.




Hoping to persuade one more U.S. Supreme Court justice to take the case, attorneys Paul D. Clement and Erin E. Murphy argued in a petition that the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals wrongly ruled that California's ban on large-capacity magazines is constitutional.
