Disbarred Bay Area lawyer gets life without parole for 2008 Palm Springs murder

A Riverside judge handed down a life sentence Thursday to David K. Replogle for his part in the 2008 killing of Palm Springs socialite Clifford Lambert, ending one of California's longest-running prosecutions.

A disbarred attorney was sentenced Thursday to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the 2008 murder of art dealer and Palm Springs socialite Clifford Lambert, capping a complex and prolonged prosecution that spanned nearly two decades.
