Google settles $28M class action over alleged pay disparities

A Santa Clara County judge found the tech giant violated employment laws related to race and ethnicity, allegedly paying certain minority employees less than White and Asian colleagues for similar work. The lawsuit, filed under California's Private Attorneys General Act, accused Google of perpetuating wage disparities through its hiring and salary-setting practices.
