Venue for state's insulin lawsuit remains uncertain
The case against pharmaceutical companies, filed by California's attorney general, has flipped between state and federal court and has now been added to multidistrict litigation taking place in New York.
A Los Angeles judge set further dates on Friday to discuss the remand from federal court of a state lawsuit accusing prominent pharmaceutical companies and pharmacy benefit managers, including Eli Lilly and CVS, of artificially inflating the cost of insulin.
Judge David S. Cunningham III set a tentative date of June 24 to discuss the status of the remand.
