Sonoma real estate rivals seek dismissal of investors' complaint
In their responses to a putative class action investor fraud lawsuit, the former partners gave different replies. One said the other was to blame. The other said the plaintiffs have no standing.
Longtime Sonoma County real estate partners and friends turned rivals Ken Mattson and Tim LeFever asked a federal judge to toss a putative investor fraud class action against them, arguing that the plaintiffs did not specify enough details about the alleged wrongdoing to survive the pleading stage.
LeFever's attorney, Coblentz Patch Duffy & Bass LLP partner Stan Roman, said the complaint painted "a clear picture"
