Attempt to recall LA DA short of valid signatures, county clerk says
The Recall DA George Gascon campaign put out a statement calling the recall’s apparent failure to qualify for the ballot “heartbreaking” and vowing to pursue its options to make sure the results are accurate.
Proponents of a recall of Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón fell more than 46,000 signatures short of qualifying for the ballot, according to the county’s registrar-recorder/county clerk, Dean C. Logan.
