Many courts face recruiting, retirement challenges

Courts throughout the state appear to have large numbers of job openings. This could reflect generational turnover and a job market that remains tight for skilled workers.

Career fairs like the one the Sacramento County Superior Court will host on Saturday are a regular occurrence for many employers around the country. Except the court in California’s capital city has never had one before, staff said this week.
