A memorial mass is scheduled for Russell Lloyd Johnson, a partner at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP who was widely regarded as the dean of real estate law in Los Angeles. Johnson died July 12. He was 89.
Johnson worked on some of the most iconic building projects in Los Angeles, including the Walt Disney Concert Hall. He also mentored many young attorneys who became leading real estate lawyers in their own right.
