California Chief Justice Tani G. Cantil-Sakauye on Wednesday named 18 people to her new Appellate Caseflow Workgroup.
Cantil-Sakauye tasked them with creating “policies, procedures, and case management processes to promote transparency, accountability, and efficiency in rendering timely judgments.” She announced the group last week, along with the name of its chair, 1st District Court of Appeal Presiding Justice Jim Humes.
