2 more judges confirmed to district courts in California
President Biden has nominated eight other California district judges. Two of them had Senate Judiciary Committee hearings but have not gotten votes.
The U.S. Senate confirmed two California district court judges nominated by President Joe Biden before adjourning for the year.
Late Friday, U.S. Magistrate Judge Jennifer L. Thurston of Bakersfield was confirmed to a Fresno seat on the Eastern District of California court and Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge
