William A. "Bill" Fenwick, a onetime associate at a New York law firm who headed to California in the early 1970s to co-found Fenwick & West LLP, one of Silicon Valley's most successful law firms, has died. He was 83.
"Bill was a true technology lawyer before his time" said Gordon K. Davidson, a firm partner and its longtime chairman.
Fenwick died Oct. 4 in Palo Alto, according to the firm.
