In California, meanwhile, no judge has been nominated for three 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals vacancies or 19 district court vacancies.
The Senate Judiciary Committee started hearings Tuesday for three prospective judges in the Western District of Washington who were nominated by President Joe Biden in late April and mid-May.
