Mary Kay Kane, was remembered this week as a mentor and icon to junior faculty in her positions as a past dean of UC Hastings College of the Law.
She died June 3 from cancer, according to a statement from the school. She was 74.
“She was incredibly dedicated to junior faculty, and really I think heralded a new day at Hastings,” Dean David L. Faigman said Wednesday.
