State high court upholds ex-justice Jeffrey Johnson’s removal
The Supreme Court declined to review Johnson's petition for review. He was removed by the Commission on Judicial Performance in June.
The California Supreme Court on Wednesday upheld the removal of Jeffrey Johnson from the 2nd District Court of Appeal. Johnson, who is believed to be the first California court of appeal justice removed from the bench, was found by the state's judicial watchdog to have committed multiple acts of sexual harassment and other misconduct.
