Citing crushing caseloads overwhelming federal courts, U.S. senators pledged to create more judgeships -- including in the Eastern District of California -- as part of an upcoming pandemic-relief bill.
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham, R-South Carolina, and California Sen. Dianne Feinstein, the Democrat ranking member of the committee, said they would work together for a bipartisan plan.
