U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Victoria S. Kaufman was reappointed to a second 14-year term, effective May 2.
The judges of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals approved the reappointment of Kaufman, who has been on the Central District of California Bankruptcy Court since 2006. She sits in Woodland Hills.
The court, which has 23 judges, reported 38,148 new filings in 2019.
