A federal judge has dismissed a trio of lawsuits against the federal nuclear regulator over alleged safety violations at a now-defunct San Diego County power plant, but said one could be amended and refiled.
Southern California Edison Co. is in the middle of a years-long process to decommission the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station. The utility must find a suitable way to transfer and/or store spent fuel.
