Jonathan Shapiro will tell you he wasn't much of a boxer.
Fighting at 154 pounds as a Harvard undergrad and later as a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford, the 6-foot-2 Shapiro managed just two wins in his short fight career.
"I was terrible," Shapiro admitted. "The Oxford Mail, covering one of my fights, referred to me as 'a tall, willowy southpaw with no taste for the job.'"
