A Mexican man was convicted in Sacramento on Friday of illegally living and voting in the United States for years.
Gustavo Lerma's federal trial was scheduled to last through Monday, but the jury was given the case early and quickly delivered a verdict. He was found guilty of one count each of aggravated identity theft and passport fraud and five counts of voting by an alien.
