Amid a hotbed of activity in the state’s legal ethics circles, the California Lawyers Association has launched its own Ethics Committee.
The formation of the panel comes several months after new Rules of Professional Conduct for California attorneys became effective and at the same time a State Bar task force is weighing rule changes that could open the legal marketplace to non-lawyers.
