San Diego County officials violated state laws protecting land from non-agricultural use when it approved the development.

Appellate court orders San Diego County to vacate its approval of a map for the subdivision of the 1,400-acre Hosking’s Ranch project plan. The panel ruled that the proposed project lacked the required relationship to agriculture use, making the subdivision portion of the project illegal.
