Robert E. Hinerfeld, a prominent attorney who represented the Rand Corporation in the Pentagon Papers trial and former Manatt, Phelps & Phillips LLP partner, died Monday night. He was 85.
Family, colleagues and friends remembered Hinerfeld Tuesday as a principled attorney with unfailing integrity who, above all else, believed in justice.
