State high court reverses death penalty because prosecutor told jury about his racist beliefs

The California Supreme Court unanimously reversed a death penalty sentence for a white supremacist multiple murderer after finding the trial court improperly allowed prosecutors to present extensive testimony on the defendant’s belief system as evidence of his deserving of capital punishment.
