Putative class alleges Square Inc. failed to pay overtime, provide breaks

Blumenthal Nordrehaug Bhowmik De Blouw LLP has filed a class action lawsuit against Square Inc., accusing the company of violating the California Labor Code by failing to provide their California non-exempt employees with required meal and rest periods and allegedly failing to pay them overtime

A proposed class action accuses Square Inc. of failing to pay employees overtime or providing required meal and rest breaks.

The case was filed under California's Private Attorney General Act.
