Apple, Qualcomm head for major battle

The trial will pit Apple’s Chief Executive Tim Cook and Qualcomm’s CEO Steve Mollenkopf in the witness box.

The increasingly acrimonious antitrust and contract dispute between technology behemoths Apple Inc. and Qualcomm Inc. will reach a crescendo April 15, when a trial starts that will pit Apple's Chief Executive Tim Cook and Qualcomm's CEO Steve Mollenkopf in the witness box.

With billions at stake, the two companies have been trading blows over patents and contracts for the last two years in multiple suits, spanning the globe.
