Following 9th Circuit ruling, judge reverses himself in collective certification bid

A federal judge has certified a class of job applicants accusing PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP of age discrimination, reversing his previous order.

Reversing himself, a U.S. judge certified a class of job applicants accusing PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP of age discrimination.

The decision by U.S. District Judge Jon S. Tigar of the Northern District is sealed, as is the plaintiffs' renewed motion for collective certification, but a docket line said the judge granted the motion on Thursday.
