Michael J. Avenatti is no longer representing a company he recently testified was his sole source of income, making a post-arrest withdrawal from a major federal action set for a hearing Thursday in Atlanta.

Avenatti told the Daily Journal in a text message Wednesday he's "focusing my attention on the R. Kelly matter and other trials coming up" instead of continuing litigation on behalf of Medline Industries Inc., an Illinois company...
