It's en banc week at the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, but one case previously set for oral argument in San Francisco is missing from the docket: a Second Amendment challenge to Hawaii's open carry laws.

Last summer, a divided three-judge panel of the court shot down the state's restrictive system, under which the court said no open carry permits to citizens other than security guards have actually been issued.
