Kennedy successfully protected client Taco Bell Corp.'s employee discount plan with a motion for summary judgment in October 2014. The plaintiffs were seeking to certify a class of approximately 38,000 former and current Taco Bell employees who took part in a program that allows them to voluntarily purchase meals from Taco Bell at discounted rates as long as the employee remains on the premises to eat the food.
