Google Inc. successfully fought off a patent infringement lawsuit brought by plaintiff Blue Spike LLC after an Oakland federal judge rejected five patents.

Google Inc. successfully fought off a patent infringement lawsuit brought by plaintiff
Blue Spike LLC after an Oakland federal judge rejected five patents.


U.S. District Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers determined Tuesday that the Blue Spike
patents covered concepts that were overly abstract and lacked inventiveness.
