City of Berkeley notches win fight over cell phone radiation ordinance

District Judge Edward M. Chen largely denied the industry's motion for preliminary injunction, which would have blocked a city ordinance that requires cell phone makers to tell shoppers that holding a cell phone close to the body may expose them to unsafe levels of radio frequency radiation.
