Class certification granted in law firm taxes suit

A Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge allowed a suit accusing the city of unlawfully taxing reimbursed expert fees and travel expenses as gross receipts to move forward.

certification was granted Tuesday in a suit brought against the city on behalf of
