High speed rail opponents notch small victory

Tuesday's ruling grants opponents an opportunity to argue their case that the rail project's design violates the very 2008 ballot measure that voters approved to fund it.

Opponents of the state's high speed rail project won a small victory Tuesday when Sacramento County Superior Court Judge Michael Kenny ruled against the state and granted opponents an opportunity to argue their case that the rail project's design violates the very 2008 ballot measure to fund it.
