Law schools keen to admit college juniors

Agreements between colleges and law schools allow select students to apply in their third year. Those accepted receive their bachelor's degree after their first year of law school and law degree two years later.

Within weeks of the announcement that Southwestern Law School would soon begin admitting students after only three years of college at California State University Northridge, assistant law school dean Robert Mena began hearing from eager young people.
