Venable LLP, a national law firm that's recently pushed for growth in Los Angeles, picked up white-collar criminal specialist Jan L. Handzlik from Greenberg Traurig LLP, adding him as a partner.
Handzlik said he sought work at Venable because he was unhappy with the number of client conflicts he encountered at Greenberg Traurig LLP - a problem he said hindered his business opportunities.
