Right ruling, wrong reasons

Although the U.S. Supreme Court decided the case correctly, there is something deeply unsettling and unsatisfying in the reasoning of both the majority and minority opinions of Walker v. Texas Division, Sons of Confederate Veterans. The high court upheld the state of Texas' right to refuse issuing a specialty license plate featuring an image of the Confederate flag.
