SEC sides with plaintiff in whistleblower lawsuit

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has filed a brief supporting the plaintiff in a Northern District lawsuit that accuses Hercules-based Bio-Rad Laboratories Inc. of bribing government officials in other countries.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has filed a brief supporting the plaintiff in a Northern District lawsuit that accuses Hercules-based Bio-Rad Laboratories Inc. of bribing government officials in Russia, Thailand, Vietnam, and China. The SEC brief - filed Friday - supports plaintiff Sanford Wadler, a former general counsel of Bio-Rad who claims the company illegally sacked him after he investigated the alleged corruption...
