Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye has made her first appointment to the Judicial Council.
Harry Hull, Cantil-Sakauye's former colleague from the 3rd District District Court of Appeal in Sacramento, will join the 33-member policy-making body for the California courts, a court official confirmed Tuesday.
Hull fills the vacancy left by Cantil-Sakauye when she became chief justice Jan. 3.
