In span of two years, asbestos settlements double in San Francisco Superior Court

The two-year-old asbestos deparment in San Francisco Superior Court is yielding a lot more settlements but is not as popular with plaintiffs' attorneys as Los Angeles because fewer cases are going to trial, lawyers say.
