Judge Resigns After TV Audition Bid

SAN DIEGO - Superior Court Judge DeAnn M. Salcido's desire for fame and fortune has led to her undoing.


Salcido agreed to resign from the bench in five days, after being publicly censured Wednesday by the Commission on Judicial Performance for "a pattern of misconduct" following an attempt to audition from the bench for her own TV show.
