John M. Hartenstein

John M. Hartenstein, a highly regarded San Francisco public finance lawyer and chairman of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP's School, Finance and General Obligation Bonds Group, has died. He was 52.


Hartenstein was found dead Sunday at his home in Berkeley, said Roger Davis, chairman of Orrick's Public Finance Department. The cause of death was not disclosed.
