Judge sentences man to probation for slapping autistic boy

A feud between the defense attorney and the boy's family lawyer continues, with each accusing the other of racism and antisemitism.

In a case that stirred public outrage, ignited racial and religious tensions, and drew accusations of professional misconduct, a Los Angeles County judge on Tuesday sentenced a man to probation and community labor for slapping a 10-year-old autistic boy who touched his Mercedes Benz.

The incident, caught on video in July 2024 and widely circulated online, showed Scott Sakajian striking Alfredo Morales, who had approached the luxury vehicle while walking in Pacoima with his family....
